Job Overview

We’re looking for a proactive US Business Development & Sales Support Specialist with a hunter mindset—someone who thrives on turning cold leads into booked speaking engagements. If you love connecting with decision-makers, managing a high-performing pipeline, and supporting a sales leader with premium offerings, this role is for you. This is not a passive sales support role. You’ll be fully responsible for driving outbound sales efforts, identifying new opportunities, booking discovery calls, and moving leads through the pipeline. You’ll work closely with other teams to close deals and attract engagements.

Job Description

As Business Development & Sales Support Specialist, part of your responsibilities will include:

Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Research and identify high-value leads for speaking engagements at corporations, associations, and franchise events.
  • Build targeted lists of decision-makers using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Seamless.AI, and Zoho CRM.
  • Maintain clean, organized lead pipelines through data mining and research.
Sales Engagement & Outreach
  • Conduct 100+ weekly outreach activities via LinkedIn, phone, and email.
  • Use AI tools and automation to personalize and scale outreach.
  • Engage with prospects' social media activity to warm up leads before outreach.
  • Schedule 10+ qualified discovery calls per month with C-level decision-makers.
  • Follow up persistently to nurture warm leads, overcome objections, and close deals.
CRM & Pipeline Management
  • Log all communications and activities in Zoho CRM with high accuracy.
  • Use Zoho's automation and reporting tools to track outreach effectiveness and lead progress.
  • Maintain structured follow-up cadences with automated sequences.
Sales Call Prep & Follow-Up
  • Prepare detailed lead briefing documents for company’s discovery calls.
  • Summarize meetings, update CRM records, and execute next steps promptly.
  • Send customized proposals and manage ongoing communication until deal closure.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
  • Deliver weekly activity reports and performance metrics.
  • Continuously refine outreach and follow-up strategies using data insights.
  • Achieve and exceed key KPIs:
  • 100+ outreach activities per week
  • 10+ qualified discovery calls per month
  • 20%+ outreach-to-call conversion rate


Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or business development.
  • Experience working for a US-based Client/Business is required.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills—confident, clear, and persuasive across email, phone, and LinkedIn.
  • Proficiency in:
    • Zoho CRM
    • LinkedIn Sales Navigator
    • Seamless.AI
  • Sales automation and reporting tools
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and results-driven—able to work independently with minimal oversight.
Preferred Qualifications
  • B2B sales experience, particularly in speaking, training, consulting, or event marketing.
  • Familiarity with additional CRM or marketing automation platforms.
