Meet the team: 

Join our dynamic EMEA Medical Affairs team—an international group of around 20 professionals based across multiple countries. We're looking for a highly motivated individual to contribute to Dexcom’s mission in France: advancing continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) as the standard of care for people living with diabetes. In this pivotal role, you will act as a key scientific and medical expert, supporting healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders throughout France. 

Where you come in:  

  • You will take the lead on providing medical and educational leadership and partnership to the Commercial teams in France, including Marketing and Sales
  • You will map external stakeholders including KOLs and lead KOL development in France with presentations, discussions, and face-to-face meetings
  • You will plan and execute local/regional medical/scientific advisory boards  
  • You will plan and execute local medical communication plans including presentations at scientific conferences and strategic publications  
  • Your expertise in the field of diabetes will enable the development of educational tools and clinical messaging needed for a variety of audiences including patients, nurses, diabetes educators, primary care providers, specialists, and others. 
  • You will be a strong cross-functional collaborator with Global Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Marketing, Sales and Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, and Compliance.

  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and deliver personalized, engaging, and memorable educational programs
  • You can interpret complex scientific information accurately and can communicate results clearly to a variety of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders 
  • You have excellent relationship management skills that build trust and credibility with internal and external stakeholders, while leveraging strong project management and time management skills 
  • You have subject matter expertise in type 1 and type 2 diabetes and CGM  
  • You are fluent in English and French with the ability to confidently convey complex information in a manner that meets the needs of the audience. Further foreign language skills esp. Italian or Spanish are an advantage 
  • This is a home-based role with required flexibility to travel extensively, mainly in France.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 13+ years of related experience
  • At this level a graduate degree may be expected with 6 years of related experience
  • Typically requires a physician (endocrinology, diabetes, internal medicine), dietician, diabetes educator, nurse, or equivalent clinical qualification.
