As a Vice President of Intake, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

  • Oversee daily intake operations, ensuring timely and compliant patient onboarding and service initiation.
  • Lead intake, care coordination, customer relations, and patient experience teams to build a high-performing, service-focused culture.
  • Develop and execute strategies to optimize intake workflows, improve referral conversion, and enhance the customer experience.
  • Ensure all referrals are accepted, staffed, and tracked efficiently to support census and agency growth.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and data tools to monitor performance metrics and drive informed decisions.
  • Promote continuous improvement and alignment of workflows to support quality care and coordinated services.
  • Manage department budgets, productivity goals, and identify process improvements and cost savings.
  • Develop training programs for intake staff on EMR usage, service standards, and compliance protocols.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate innovations like referral platforms and EMR systems.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with marketing, operations, sales, and clinical teams to ensure intake excellence.
  • Performs other duties/projects as assigned.

What is Required?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, nursing, social work, or a related field required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in intake, operations, or customer service.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or administrative role.
  • Prior experience in home health operations management is required.
  • Strong understanding of home health agency regulations and standards.
  • RN license strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Experience with EMR systems and referral platforms (e.g., Epic, Homecare Homebase).
  • Skilled in using dashboards, reporting tools, and systems integration.
  • Experience with HHA Exchange or similar intake software is preferred.
  • Travel as needed for business meetings, site visits, and team management.

This is a remote position, with a preference for candidates located in the Central or Eastern time zones.
