Job description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a technically sound LIMS Developer (Dev III - LIMS Associate
Engineer) with strong hands-on experience in SampleManager LIMS development and implementation projects. The ideal candidate will independently develop, configure, test, and manage LIMS workflows and modules, while also contributing to technical design and process improvement within pharmaceutical laboratory environments.

Key Responsibilities:
 Independently develop high-quality, error-free code and configurations in
SampleManager LIMS.
 Design, develop, and configure LIMS modules such as Sample workflows, Stock,
Instrument Module, Batch Management, Lot Management, Plate Handling, Stability,
SQC, SM-IDI, PIMS, and Dashboards.
 Handle instrument interfacing, calibration, and maintenance integration via
Integration Manager.
 Perform defect RCA, mitigation, and manage module-level project activities.
 Create, review, and maintain technical documentation, reports, and validation
records.
 Mentor junior developers and assist the Lead on technical design and project
reviews.
 Contribute to configuration, testing (unit/UAT), and release processes.
 Follow ITIL processes and support procedures.
 Collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver business-
aligned LIMS solutions.

Required Skills:

 Strong hands-on experience in SampleManager LIMS configuration and
development.
 Experience in at least 1–2 LIMS implementation or development projects.
 Prior knowledge of pharma laboratory practices and instrument interfacing.
 Good database skills including query writing and report/form development.
 Familiarity with ITIL processes, validation, and documentation practices.
 Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving capabilities.
 Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor juniors.

Preferred Skills:
 Exposure to Agile delivery models.
 Experience working with database management systems and report designers.
 Knowledge of ITIL support processes and pharma laboratory regulations.
