The Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the vital work of maintaining diagnostic tools, which directly influence patient health and well-being.

This position is part of the Service Organization location in Great Falls, Montana, and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Field Service Team. This position services Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis  and Automation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Working independently, handle troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair needs of Beckman Coulter equipment, including providing excellent and efficient service to Beckman Coulter’s customers, along with technical training on products.

  • Provide excellent and efficient service to Beckman Coulter’s customers, along with technical training on products.

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, understanding and meeting their requirements while traveling throughout the district territory and experiencing all the various places where our instrumentation is utilized.

The essential requirements of the job include: 

  • Associate degree (prefer technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related) or equivalent military experience.

  • 3+ years’ experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or in instrumentation. 

  • Hold a current valid driver’s license and good driving record over last three years is required. Associates who drive Beckman Coulter vehicles will follow the Danaher Company Vehicle Policy.

  • Moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. This would be to include tools, replacement parts, consumables etc.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel – list specifics 30% travel, overnight, within territory or locations
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb, any other physical requirements

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • 4+ years’ experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, and/or electronic equipment, in the laboratory, as a Field Service Engineer or Biomedical Engineer.

  • Experience collaborating with internal team members and external customers

The hourly range for this role is $38.00/hour - $43.23/hour.

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
