Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our external clients and internal IT teams. Your mission is to capture business needs, translate them into clear programming specifications, and work closely with developers to ensure solutions align with business goals. You’ll also take the lead in quality assurance testing and provide essential support through our help desk.

This role has a strong client-facing component, working closely with Client Services and Account Management teams to manage client requests related to file exchanges, reporting, and onboarding. While you’ll also support internal projects, client needs take priority.

Your Impact:

• Partner with business sponsors and end users to gather and document requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project objectives.
• Develop detailed written and graphic specifications to guide the development team, providing ongoing clarity and support.
• Design test plans, execute test cases, and ensure deliverables meet quality and business requirements.
• Maintain documentation of new functionalities and provide training and user materials for smooth adoption.
• Assist with issue resolution, data verification, and ad-hoc queries.

Successful Candidates Will Have:

• 3+ years of business analysis experience in a technical environment. Experience in insurance, banking, or lending industries preferred.
• Familiarity with EDI file processing and SQL (writing queries/scripts)
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and project tracking systems. Background in Microsoft-centered development environments
• Experience with QA tools, automated testing, and script writing

The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected annual pay range for this position is between $65,000. to $70,000. plus discretionary bonus. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
