Skills in Healthcare offers manufacturers a variety of services aimed at optimizing the delivery of healthcare, improving patient access to treatments, and ensuring efficient operations within healthcare systems. Position Summary

The newly created position of Regional Director CEE - Skills in Healthcare will be reponsible for running the Skills in Healthcare business in Central and Eastern Europe, focused on driving strategic initiatives and managing operational excellence to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.This position demands a proactive approach to analyzing market trends to identify and capitalize on service development opportunities.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing sales and promotional strategies for assigned portfolios and collaborating closely with internal departments to ensure cohesive operations and strategic alignment. This role will also be responsible for the financial health of the Skills in Healthcare business, managing the balance of income versus expenses, and providing professional evaluations and mentorship to team members.
 

A strong emphasis is placed on gathering insights from market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions. The Regional Director will maintain compliance with ethical and regulatory standards set by the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring all interactions and activities adhere to these guidelines. Additionally, staying informed of industry trends through participation in conferences, seminars, and workshops is essential for the role.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Set clear objectives for Skills In Healthcare Department Heads and monitor their achievement.
  • Analyze market trends to evaluate service development opportunities.
  • Liaise effectively with all internal departments.
  • Develop and implement sales and promotional strategies for assigned portfolios.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate subordinate staff.
  • Manage the balance of income versus expenses at the SIH company level.
  • Conduct professional evaluations for subordinates, providing constructive feedback.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to gather insights for strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and sales, to develop and implement effective promotional strategies.
  • Attend industry conferences, seminars, and workshops to stay informed of industry trends and expand professional networks.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical and regulatory guidelines set by the pharmaceutical industry, maintaining compliance in all interactions and activities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in leading a team of 100 or more, and at least 10 years of experience in negotiation, sales of products and services, and medical promotion.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines, and current medical issues.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.

  • Professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong teamwork and networking abilities.

  • Proven people management skills.

  • Highly motivated and target-driven, with a successful track record in sales and medical promotion.

  • Willingness to travel frequently; valid driver’s license is required.

  • Strong negotiation and sales skills.
