Data Collections – Carrier Facing exercises discretion and independent judgment over the tasks, duties and job responsibilities outlined below.
The position has significant importance due to the critical nature of the employee benefit administration function performed by Wrangle for its clients. The position requires a professional relationship and professional communication with vendors and Wrangle staff.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is to review incoming plan sponsor data from the brokers and plan sponsors. This involves understanding the broker, the plan sponsor and the ERISA plans. Interaction is primarily with the brokers, plan sponsors and Wrangle staff. The tasks and duties are listed below, but are not limited to these:
Emails from the brokers should be responded to within four (4) hours of receiving them.
Provide the broker and/or plan sponsors with access to Wrangle’s database to allow their ability to input data and access data and status updates.
Incoming plan sponsor data – review and respond with approval or questions. The goal is to do this within the same day.
The review should involve comparing the data received to last year’s information.
The response should include, as needed, specific questions on information that does not match with last year’s information or leaves gaps in reporting.
Perform due diligence checks on new to Wrangle plan sponsors and 5500s.
Perform regular checks to ensure auto reports are being sent out appropriately.
Primary responsibility for the following tasks:
Ticking and One Year DFVCs
Placeholder List
Assist and support Consultants, 5500 Specialists and Data Collections – Carrier Facing as necessary and as directed by the office manager to optimize the Wrangle process.
Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
This position requires a significant amount of self-management in terms of following Wrangle’s Best Practices Form 5500 Timeline, responding to emails in a timely manner and ensuring that all data is reviewed and the correct responses provided.
