About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager, User Experience Design & Strategy to lead the UX vision execution for WP Engines owned brands (NitroPack, ACF and Delicious Brains). This role requires a balance of hands-on UX design expertise and the ability to translate business goals into actionable design and development requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user-centered design, experience with WordPress platforms, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
 

UX Strategy & Vision

• Define and drive the overall UX strategy and roadmap for multiple WordPress websites, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.

• Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to inform design decisions and continuously optimize user experience.

• Establish design guidelines, best practices, and UX standards to maintain consistency and scalability across platforms.

End-to-End User Experience Design

• Oversee the full UX design lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring seamless and engaging experiences for all website users.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualize and validate design concepts.

• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of UX designs.

• Optimize site navigation, information architecture, and interaction models to enhance user satisfaction and engagement.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

• Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, product, and development teams, to align UX strategy with business goals.

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide design recommendations, and manage expectations.

• Facilitate workshops and design reviews to gain consensus and ensure alignment across teams.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation

• Translate business needs and user insights into clear, actionable requirements for development teams.

• Create and maintain detailed UX documentation, including functional specifications, design guidelines, and project timelines.

• Define and prioritize design tasks to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Project Oversight & Delivery

• Oversee the successful execution of UX projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and business objectives are met.

• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.

• Conduct post-launch evaluations to assess performance, gather user feedback, and drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

UX Design Expertise

• 7+ years of experience in experience design, strategy, and project management, preferably with a focus on WordPress websites.

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and responsive design.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

• Experience creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
