The Payer Enrollment & Credentialing Specialist is responsible for payer enrollments, revalidations, follow up issues with claim submissions, ERA retrieval, and eligibility issues.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and potential business partners. This role requires an individual who understands the dynamics of client relationships, is comfortable representing the organization, and presenting information. EMS experience and/or knowledge or understanding of medical terminology is helpful, but not required. Strong technical knowledge is a plus.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Assist with onboarding of new clients
Ensure all payer enrollments and revalidations are completed on deadline(s)
Follow up on all claims issues and eligibility issues
Build relationships with key client decision makers
Act as a point of contact for assigned clients
Assist all parties, both internal and external, with implementation issues and billing inquiries, if necessary
Ability to navigate our software; learn how to run reports and see detail on our payment posting screen and pull up claims in the system
Able to collaborate with all internal teams including project management and client relations teams, as well as the Billing department
Skills/Experience Required
EMS experience and/or knowledge or understanding of medical terminology preferred
Able to organize and prioritize tasks in order to complete all work assigned, and report on each project’s progress and status
Knowledge of lockboxes is preferred
Knowledge of ticketing systems is strongly preferred
Strong computer skills. Experience with MS Outlook, Word, Excel required
Ability to learn new computer systems & software and understand workflows
Ability to deal calmly and effectively with situations via telephone while maintaining and promoting a positive company image
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to present information and solutions in a professional and courteous manner.
