Your role at Bolt:

As a Small Business Sales Account Executive, you’ll be on the front lines driving growth by connecting high-potential ecommerce and fintech merchants with Bolt’s innovative checkout solutions. You’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close—working closely with marketing, partnerships, and product teams to tailor solutions that meet each merchant’s unique needs. This is a strategic role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands the ecommerce landscape, and is passionate about helping small businesses scale through cutting-edge technology.

What you will be doing:

  • Own and manage a full-cycle sales process for small to mid-sized merchants, from pipeline generation to contract close.
  • Identify and engage high-value ecommerce and fintech merchants who would benefit from Bolt’s checkout, fraud protection, and ecommerce solutions.
  • Partner closely with marketing to drive qualified inbound and outbound lead generation efforts.
  • Tailor pitches and product demos to meet the specific business needs of ecommerce merchants and small business partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Partnerships, Product, and Solutions Engineering to accelerate deals and ensure a seamless handoff.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline using Salesforce and other sales tools, while delivering accurate forecasting.
  • Represent Bolt at industry events, conferences, and webinars, building credibility and expanding our reach in the small business ecommerce space.
  • Continuously gather and share market feedback to help shape Bolt’s go-to-market strategy and product roadmap.

What would set you up for success:

  • 5-8 years of experience in sales, ideally in SaaS, ecommerce, fintech, or related technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with small to mid-sized businesses.
  • Deep understanding of the ecommerce and/or fintech ecosystem and what drives small business decision-making.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical offerings and communicate value clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong pipeline management, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce, as well as sales engagement platforms.
  • Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Bonus: Experience selling in a product-led or startup environment.
