Director Commercial Process Consulting (Remote)

Full-time, United States - Eastern Time Zone, and in particular Northeast Strongly Preferred

The Director Commercial Process Consulting is responsible for providing account management process alignment among the commercial groups to deliver on business initiatives and customer commitments.

Responsibilities include analyzing and proposing ways to improve our organization’s structure, efficiency, or profit as a leader or member of a project team.

Typical Projects May Include (but Are Not Limited To)

  • Technology development and implementation
  • Major process changes
  • New business implementations
  • Unique client requirements design and implementation

This position will act as the liaison to the assigned project on behalf of the account, region, or division and be accountable for the overall project performance results.

As a Director Commercial Process Consulting, you will

  • Define and implement best practices across Operations, Account Management, Technology, and Financial areas as related to specific projects
  • Lead or support various process improvement initiatives and other special projects designed to improve business effectiveness
  • Assemble and lead project teams to implement changes/projects
  • Provide internal/external customers with insights based on business research and analysis
  • Manage client recovery efforts by understanding the requirements, and gaps, and pulling in the necessary people to resolve the issues quickly and to the customers’ expectations
  • Effectively measure pre and post-process reengineering to ensure the most effective process has been implemented

About You

  • Strong Travel Industry experience to include a background in TMC Operations and Global Account Management and integration with Sales
  • Professional working proficiency in Spanish preferred
  • A solid understanding of Concur
  • Demonstrated competency in MS Office , Word, PowerPoint, Excel - Access, MS Project a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team of non-direct reports
  • Ability to apply technology as an enabler to process improvement
  • Capable of identifying customer needs – listening to information, asking probing questions, applying knowledge, crafting solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Director Commercial Process Consulting is between $92,000 and $110,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
