Numerator is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead our Media & Technology vertical, focusing on expanding adoption of our audience insights, consumer intelligence, and ad effectiveness solutions. Numerator’s proprietary panel and survey-based products provide the most complete view of the modern consumer—who they are, what they buy, and how they respond to advertising. This role is critical in helping media companies, platforms, and tech providers transform data into strategic advantage.

You will lead a high-performing sales team, reporting to the SVP of Retail and Media, to deepen relationships with strategic accounts, and drive new business across the media, advertising, and technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of enterprise SaaS sales, deep fluency in media and adtech, and a consultative approach to solving executive-level challenges.

What you'll do:

  • Contribute to the GTM strategy for Numerator’s audience and ad effectiveness products within the media and technology vertical.
  • Lead a team of enterprise sellers targeting media platforms, publishers, adtech/martech providers, and agencies.
  • Engage senior decision-makers (CMOs, Chief Revenue Officers, Heads of Ad Sales, Audience Strategy, and Insights) to position Numerator’s solutions as critical to marketing and monetization success.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to align priorities, refine offerings, and ensure customer impact.
  • Build a strong pipeline of new logos while expanding existing strategic relationships with a consultative, value-led sales approach.
  • Ensure disciplined sales operations including forecasting, pipeline health, and data hygiene in Salesforce and other tools.
  • Evangelize Numerator’s value proposition as a new standard for media performance measurement and audience understanding.
  • Audience Insights: Sell solutions that identify key consumer segments, purchase behavior, and media consumption habits.
  • Ad Effectiveness: Help clients measure how campaigns influence real-world buying, brand perception, and consumer intent.
  • Data as a Service: Position Numerator as the go-to partner for high-fidelity, real-time understanding of the omnichannel shopper for activation and measurement.

What You'll Bring to Numerator

  • 5+ years of experience in senior leadership, managing enterprise sales teams within media, advertising, data, or technology industries.
  • 5+ years of experience building and leading high-performing sales teams, with a proven track record in hiring top talent, developing skills through coaching and training, and driving team accountability to exceed targets.
  • Fluency in the needs of media publishers, platforms, adtech/martech providers, or large agencies, particularly in areas of measurement, targeting, or planning.
  • Demonstrated success selling into Marketing, Insights, Strategy, Ad Sales, and Analytics functions at the executive level.
  • Deep understanding of digital media buying, audience measurement, brand lift studies, or campaign ROI measurement.
  • Expertise in sales strategy, pipeline management, and team development.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills; persuasive storyteller with data-backed credibility.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and standard sales productivity tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
