Thales is hiring an experience Distribution Account Manager that can immediately contribute to the growth and success of the Americas channel. The Distribution Account Managerl will possess a genuine desire to see his/her partners successfully deliver next generation Data Protection with Thales’s & Imperva innovative portfolio. Distribution Account Manager will have an understanding of how to drive incremental revenue, find new partner logo’s, while managing a large renewal baseline. As a Distribution Account Manager you will be responsible for ensuring Distributors have the proper training and knowledge of our programs and portfolio of products. This individual will manage all aspects of the distribution business and relationships. Implement a ROI approach to partnering efforts with an emphasis on revenue generation, focus on cloud and integrated product offerings that differentiate Thales in the marketplace. The individual should have excellent spoken and written word. A successful candidate will possess a positive, “can do” attitude, with the distinct ability to own relationships that scale to the executive level.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Manage all aspects of the Distribution business and relationships building and networking within the distribution community at all functional level
  • Create and execute a tactical & long term strategic plan for North American distribution.
  • Create and implement marketing plans and measuring ROI from funding investments
  • Expands Thales reach within distribution accounts to increase brand awareness and partner base penetration and establish priorities
  • Builds a partner enablement plan in line with channel requirements and goals
  • Creates annual business plans, with measurable goals, and Scorecard reporting with distribution partners
  • Effective communication and training of Thales Channel Programs and Promotions


Mininum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of experience in distribution prefered and channel sales experience in a security, software, networking or infrastructure company.
  • Ability to manage business through engagement with all levels of a distribution partner organization and achieving a high level of customer and partner satisfaction.
  • Must demonstrate both personal integrity and ability to exercise good judgement
  • Strong presentation skills at all levels, business development acumen, and virtual team building
  • Capable of developing and presenting interesting solutions strategies, meeting /exceeding customer requirements/expectations
  • Organizational skills mandatory with the ability to engage with all levels of a distribution partner organization
  • Strong business planning skills and proven ability to execute and deliver a defined plan
