About this opportunity:

We’re looking for a Python/Go Team Lead to improve our API Abuse prevention. This product provides comprehensive real-time protection against detrimental automated behaviors, including malicious bots, account takeover (ATO), credential stuffing, application layer (L7) DDoS attacks, and more.

Tech stack for this position: Python, Go, FastAPI, Celery, PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, Redis, Kubernetes, Docker

Responsibilities:

Own the technical vision, ensure high-quality solutions and oversee the team’s successful delivery
Drive key technical decisions, roadmap planning and tech debt management to align engineering efforts with business goals
Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team of Backend, Frontend and QA engineers, fostering professional growth and collaboration
Develop and enhance software using Python (70%) and Go (30%), designing scalable, high-performance solutions
Contribute to open-source projects, such as GoTestWAF, fostering community engagement and collaboration
Facilitate cross-team collaboration, gathering requirements, sharing knowledge and ensuring smooth project execution.
