Work closely with development teams for the company’s business solutions business applications to ensure quality code and deliverables.
Drive manual and automated test planning.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks and test strategies.
Establish and implement quality assurance (QA)/ quality engineering (QE) standards to ensure best practices.
Assist Technology Manager with Technical Requirements Definition processes.
Coordinate quality assurance (QA) work within remote development teams.
Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production support, and production releases.
Assist development team with performance and scalability analysis and load testing.
Undertake responsibility for defect analysis and reporting.
Lead and mentor quality assurance engineering staff of varying experience levels.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
8 years of progressive experience in quality assurance.
Work experience to include: 1) 4 years of experience in automation testing. 2) 2 years of experience with Selenium automation tools used for code bases, including Java. 3) 2 years of experience leading a quality assurance (QA) team. 4) Utilizing Agile software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, including Kanban and XP. 5) Website testing, including single page application (SPA), responsive design, and cross-browser. 6) Web-services testing, including REST and SOAP. 7) Utilizing TestRail, REST-assured, Maven, or SureFire. 8) Coding experience utilizing object-oriented languages, including Java and relational and NoSQL databases. 9) Experience working with JIRA, GIT, Bitbucket or HP ALM for bug and issue tracking and agile project management.
All skills can be gained concurrently.
40 hrs./wk.
Salary: $130,875.63 to $135, 875.63 per year.
