Your Job

As a Publisher Business Developer, your mission is to generate measurable business growth by acquiring, developing, and scaling partnerships with digital media publishers in the Francophone Canadian market. You'll act as a strategic partner to publishers, showcasing how Sparteo's solutions (Actirise, Viously, etc.) create tangible value, and driving T3-level business outcomes.

Drive Publisher Acquisition

  • Identify and engage small to medium-sized digital publishers across Francophone Canada.
  • Build long-term partnerships by positioning Sparteo’s platforms as performance-driven, revenue-generating solutions.
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing.

Optimize & Scale Publisher Relationships

  • Monitor and maximize the performance of publishers through continuous data analysis and strategic consulting.
  • Leverage internal tools and support teams to boost monetization results.
  • Promote upsell opportunities and platform adoption (Actirise, Viously, and other tech solutions).

Market Intelligence & Strategic Input

  • Be the voice of the Francophone Canadian market within Sparteo.
  • Identify emerging trends, regulatory shifts, and local dynamics in digital publishing.
  • Deliver actionable insights to product, marketing, and leadership teams to influence roadmap and GTM strategies.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Product, AdOps, Analytics, and Customer Success to deliver T3-level outcomes to publishers.
  • Align publisher needs with internal capabilities to ensure long-term impact and retention.


Your profile for this job

  • Proven track record in adtech business development, with an existing network of small to mid-sized Francophone web publishers across Canada, particularly in Quebec and other French-speaking regions.

  • Strong command of B2B sales cycles and negotiation, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

  • Sharp analytical skills to build and communicate data-driven strategies that resonate with local market dynamics.

  • Growth-driven: Motivated by personal development and team success, with an entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Data-oriented: Comfortable interpreting analytics to support business decisions and optimize performance.
