About the Role:

The Enterprise Account Executive will play a key role in driving Confluent’s sales activities to grow our customer acquisitions in the Enterprise space in Hong Kong . This role includes activities developing and executing on the go-to-market strategy for your territory. The ideal candidate needs to have experience selling complex Database, Messaging, Big Data, Open Source and/or SaaS into large corporate and multinational companies.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for driving revenue growth for large, diverse, complex territories
  • Proactively prospect, identify, qualify, develop, and close a sales pipeline
  • Manage the entire sales process, and collaborate with team members in business development, customer success, and support
  • Participate in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition
  • Partner with Solutions Engineers & Professional Services to ensure customer success
  • Liaises with customer contacts to manage customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and maximize sales
  • Responsible for understanding Confluent offerings and the competitive landscape
  • Travels to customer sites to identify/develop sales opportunities when required.
  • Ability to negotiate SaaS/cloud/software contracts

What You Will Bring:

  • 8+ years of Enterprise sales experience in the Technology space
  • Deep experience selling within the Database, Open Source, Messaging or Big Data space into Malaysia Enterprise space
  • An ability to articulate and sell the business value of big data and the big impact on businesses of all sizes
  • Experience selling to Software Developers or Technology leaders including C-Suite Executives
  • Experience of working in a sales role in a high growth organization
