Your role in our mission

 

Apply your skills to support Gainwell as we help clients deliver better health and human services outcomes. 

 

  • Recommends specific product configurations to assist with overall system design and integration.
  • Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents moderately complex programs.  Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation.
  • Design’s systems and programs to meet complex business needs.  Prepares detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded.  Ensures programs meet standards and technical specifications; performs technical analysis and component delivery.
  • Gathers information from existing systems, analyzes program and time requirements.  Assists project manager in preparing time estimates and justification for assigned tasks.
  • Remains abreast of industry technical trends and new development to maintain current skills and remain current with industry standards.
What we're looking for

 

  • 3+ years of applications development and programming to include full stack design/development using Java
  • Desired experience in Spring, Spring Boot and/or JavaScript
  • Back-end database experience with PL/SQL (Oracle), SQL (SQL Server) and UNIX command
  • Knowledge of software design, development, operating systems and application development policies and procedures across the development life cycle with web service development knowledge preferred
  • Strong written and oral communications skills with clients and senior leaders to move objectives forward 
  • A team player who works effectively across a diverse set of stakeholders to help achieve Gainwell’s goals 
What you should expect in this role

 

  • Fully remote opportunity with the option to work anywhere within the United States
  • Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

 

 

The pay range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
