Job description

Position: Programmer Analyst (100% Remote)
Location: Nashville, TN (100% Remote)
Duration: Long Term Renewable Contract

Overview:
The role involves defining and analyzing functional business requirements for designing and developing programs across various environments, including desktop, client-server, and browser-based or n-tier environments. The responsibilities include developing design specifications, translating detailed design specs into computer software, testing, debugging, and refining the software to meet product requirements. Additionally, the role requires preparing necessary documentation at both program and user levels, troubleshooting, and enhancing software to improve efficiency and reduce operating time.

Primary Skill Sets

Knowledge of SOLARIS and Windows operating systems
Experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases
Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and Oracle Internet Development tools and Oracle Application Server
Familiarity with J2EE and .NET architectural frameworks
Programming languages: Visual Basic, Java, and .NET
Web technologies: Visual Basic Script, JavaScript, JSPs, EJBs, XML, and HTML

Secondary Skill Sets

Knowledge of Microsoft's Internet Information Server (IIS)
Experience with Secure Socket Layers (SSL) for data encryption and decryption
Understanding of Object Oriented and UML methodologies
Familiarity with other State software standards for desktop and distributed systems

Experience Requirements
