  • Create value-added category strategies and conduct strong sourcing events.

Job description

Recommended experience: 0-3 years for Associate level, 4-7 years Intermediate level, and 8+ for Senior level hires
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing and leading the global Consulting Category
  • The candidate will be responsible for partnering with Executive Vice Presidents, Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, Senior Directors, Directors, and functional leads to drive strategic sourcing and supply management.
  • Category Knowledge: Extensive knowledge in consulting, including the following consulting sub-categories: strategy consulting, business consulting, operational consulting, financial consulting, M&A consulting, etc.
  • A preferred candidate will be experienced in several of the sub-categories.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Proven expertise with the various sourcing tools and analytical methods commonly practiced and used within a world-class Global Procurement organization.
  • Span of Control: This is an individual contributor role.
  • The position is global in scope and is expected to manage total expenditure of $200M- $500M.
  • The individual must understand and be an expert in developing global strategies through the lens of a local market/country to ensure the implementation meets the local business requirements.
  • BA or BS required.
  • Procurement qualifications are a plus (e.g. ISM, IPMM or MCIPS).
  • As procurement influence is still growing, the role will need to work closely with the functional business unit heads to create value added category strategies and hold strong sourcing events.
  • The candidate will need to have very strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills as they will interact with very senior and high-profile leaders.
  • They should display a passion for strategic sourcing, supply management and operational procurement.
