Blanc Labs is looking for a Senior Java Back-End Developer with experience in banking/financial institutions—especially in money transfers/payments, ideally involving Central 1 or Interac. Familiarity with ISO 20022 (Message Exchange standards for payment) is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with various Java based frameworks to support existing and new applications

Deliver Java requirements for on going development of Web App features and API's

Collaborate and participate in a team environment

Assist and contribute to our in house developer best practices

What You'll Need To Be Successful:

Working experience in Java, good command of object oriented principles

Ability to quickly pick up and learn new languages and frameworks

Experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot

Microservices

RESTful/SOAP APIs

API lifecycle

Experience with DB SQL Server

Azure API Management, Azure Event Hub

Experience with synchronous/asynchronous processing

Must have excellent problem solving skills and love technical challenges
