Job description

The Sales Manager is responsible for setting clear objectives, training, and leading the sales team to maximize productivity and drive results while selling on behalf of the company Xpand Demand clients.

 

This position is full time remote (home-based) position.

Xpand Demand, a division of Forward Solutions,  are consisted of  Inside Sales Representatives for Business-to-Business outbound calls for large, Fortune 1000 clients offering highly recognized brands to the away-from-home commercial marketplace. The goal is to win new opportunities through outbound B2B sales calls, which will allow utilization for strong relationship building skills, as well as confidence and engaging personalities.


The Position

Our Sales Manager will manage teams of Inside Sales Representative.  The Sales Manager will set objectives, train, and manage the reps to maximize their productivity selling on behalf of Xpand Demand clients.  While providing a valuable service to well-established companies with long-term customers. Our success is measured by the number of successful sales we generate, in addition to our clients' overall business growth.

Essential Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ability to onboard and train new and existing reps on client products and Xpand Demand platforms
  • Ability to lead teams of Inside Sales Representative (mtgs, objective setting, sales validation, training and support)
  • Ability to lead client presentation and identify new Xpand Demand opportunities at current clients
  • Ability to work with Xpand Demand systems (concur, ADP, salesforce, Ring Central etc)
  • Support Director of Sales in client presentations and expansion pitches
  • Develop best practices and train sales reps on those practices
  • Monitor and coach reps to ensure they are meeting/exceeding established metrics
  • Problem solve to overcome operator objections
  • Support client campaign development
  • Set priorities across teams when priorities or timing conflicts arise
  • Develop training and selling materials into useable format for client rep teams
  • Create and enforce production plans when needed
  • Continue to work with and develop Team Supervisors in their role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient with technology (salesforce.com, video conf software, Microsoft office)
  • Presentation skills (to clients)
  • Ability to train reps remotely
  • Selling skills – overcoming objections

 

 

Education, Experience and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of sales experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-3 years management experience
  • Experience working and training reps remotely.
  • 1-3 years’ experience leading client interactions

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Work remotely. 
  • Ability to lead conference calls and video calls (professional presence)
