Job description

Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to prepare precise construction documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves transforming detailed design concepts into technical drawings, maintaining organized digital files, and producing accurate 3D models. This position is critical for supporting project timelines, upholding design integrity, and facilitating seamless collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and organize construction documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings based on provided design specifications.
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with Australian building standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Create high-quality 3D models and visualizations using SketchUp and ArchiCAD to support design presentations.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to resolve technical discrepancies and refine drafting outputs.
  • Conduct research on materials, fixtures, and construction methods to align with project budgets and design goals.
  • Maintain structured digital filing systems for design iterations, revisions, and archival purposes.
  • Perform rigorous quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project guidelines.
  • Update documentation promptly to reflect changes in scope, client feedback, or regulatory updates.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in architectural drafting, with a focus on construction documentation.
  • Advanced proficiency in SketchUp, and ArchiCAD for technical drafting and 3D modeling.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian building codes and compliance processes.
  • Strong technical drafting skills, including experience producing detailed construction drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with remote teams and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Set-up and Location: WFH
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (PH Time)
Employment Type: Full-time
