JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A BUSINESS ADMIN ASSISTANT
Your Responsibilities as a Business Admin Assistant would be:
• Provide administrative support to the General Manager and business owners in day-to-day operations. • Conduct daily client invoicing as directed. • Prepare quotes and purchase orders for parts and supplies. • Produce and review weekly financial and operational reports. • Maintain and update company records and databases, ensuring data accuracy. • Administer backend business processes, client details, and member databases. • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a high level of satisfaction. • Use Shopify for administrative functions (Highly regarded). • Manage communication and records related to customers and suppliers. • Support with general office tasks as needed across departments.
Qualifications as a Business Admin Assistant:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant or Administrative Assistant. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel) and Google Sheets. • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. • Experience using Shopify is highly regarded. • Familiarity with industry-specific platforms like IBodyshop is a plus. • Administrative experience in mechanical repairs, panel beating, or building industries is a plus. • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. • Strong numerical aptitude. • Ability to adapt to new tasks and tools quickly. • Outgoing, reliable, and detail-oriented with a professional demeanor.
