About the team and the role:
The Browse & SEO team is looking for a Product Manager to optimize the landing page experience on eBay for horizontal and vertical category buyer needs. As a key traffic driver for SEO, the landing pages also play an important role in acquiring and retaining new customers from search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. We are looking for a Product Manager who has appreciation for eBay shoppers both new and existing, and who is looking for the challenge of developing bold and innovative solutions to meet the needs of millions of eBay users across the globe.
We are seeking a Product Manager to optimize the presentation of listings on eBay category landing pages, working with partner teams within the Search organization to improve recall, relevance, and how the listings show up to eBay buyers. The successful candidate for this role will have a keen business mind and understand how to use data insights and research to make product decisions to improve the user experience and drive conversion. This person would have a track record of successfully delivering complex products in a large matrixed company.
What you will accomplish:
Define and drive the roadmap for landing page inventory optimization.
Improve listing recall, ranking relevance, and visual presentation.
Collaborate with data science, engineering, and UX to build scalable solutions.
Lead A/B testing and experimentation to validate hypotheses and optimize performance.
Monitor KPIs like click-through rate, conversion, and listing coverage to guide decision-making.
Partner cross-functionally with search, buyer success, and vertical teams.
What you will bring:
5+ years experience in Product Management
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
e-commerce or consumer products preferred
Comfortable working with engineering (able to understand somewhat technical concepts)
Data-driven and results-oriented
Track record of product execution and delivery
Excellent communication & people skills
Experience working with user experience design and research
Comfortable working in large, matrixed organizations
Knowledge and experience in SEO desired, but not required
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$108,000 - $186,900Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
