About This Role

Seasoned Service Engineering professional working independently. Develops specialized product knowledge, maintains effective communication and frequent contact with customers and field team members, performs complex diagnostic procedures, conducts analysis and interprets complex test information to help resolve design/system related issues. Communicates technical information and keeps customers and team members up-to-date on outstanding issues.

In this home office (remote) position, the ideal candidate will be close to a major airport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains effective communication with customers and field team members to understand requirements for improvements.
  • Maintains frequent customer contact which requires a high degree of tact and courtesy.
  • Develops specialized product knowledge.
  • Performs complex diagnostic procedures.
  • Analyzes and interprets complex test information to resolve design/system related problems.
  • Communicates technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensures customers and field team members are kept informed on outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, or repairs.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School/GED or Trade School.
  •  5+ years' experience in HVAC systems and equipment service.
  • Ability to pass an MVR background check.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% regionally

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Commercial Applied HVAC equipment service experience.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Service Max.
  • Experience providing technical presentations and training.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Conflict resolution, negotiation and problems solving skills in high pressure and challenging environments.
