Job Summary:

Full Time Remote; Day 8am - 4:30pm; previous healthcare scheduling experience and data entry preferred

Job Duties:

Maintains the advanced computerized scheduling or postoperative documentation of surgical case procedures. Coordinates case procedure accuracy and scheduling of appropriate assignment of OR rooms, surgeons, and surgical procedure picklist. Verifies case timing events and supply charging and related case documentation. Ensures accuracy of case procedure scheduling and postoperative verification of documentation and charging. Maintains advanced computerized scheduling of surgical procedures with emphasis on the accurate listing of surgical case procedure picklist selection.

Reviews information from surgical department clinics to finalize daily Operation Room schedule.
Keeps an updated schedule of surgeon absences for use in reassigning Operation Room block time.
Collaborates to edit block schedules and templates as needed.
Distributes surgical schedules to designated areas.
Verifies validity of postoperative data daily.
Maintains Medical Device Tracking form files.
Assists in maintaining procedure picklists.
