The Student Affairs Assessment & Success Specialist is a pivotal role within the Office of Continuous Improvement and Institutional Performance. This position is designed for a dynamic and personable professional who will work closely with the Director of Administrative Assessment to support student affairs offices on all three campuses in executing effective assessment plans, analyzing data, and communicating success stories. As a change agent, you will collaborate with various departments to enhance the impact of student affairs on holistic student success.


Key Responsibilities:

Assessment Plan Execution: Collaborate with student affairs offices to develop and implement comprehensive strategies and tactics to achieve annual assessment plans focused on student learning outcomes that align with institutional goals.

Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to student success, ensuring accurate and actionable insights are derived.

Success Storytelling: Create compelling narratives and reports to highlight successful initiatives and outcomes within student affairs.

Collaboration & Partnership: Foster strong relationships with student affairs professionals, working closely to understand their needs and perspectives.

Change Management: Act as a change agent, promoting innovative practices and continuous improvement within student affairs.

Holistic Success Evaluation: Assess and study the broader impact of student affairs on overall student success, identifying key contributors and areas for enhancement.

Workshops & Training: Develop and deliver workshops and training sessions to build capacity in assessment and data utilization among student affairs staff.

Best Practices Development: Identify and promote best practices in student assessment and success initiatives across the institution.

Reporting & Communication: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for various stakeholders, including senior leadership, to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's degree.
