This is a remote position - the candidate will be designated as San Jose, CR

About this role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering compute and storage infrastructure projects with varying levels of scope and complexity. The project manager will coordinate across the client teams and DXC resources to deliver solutions within the approved budget and scope.  The project manager must excel in effective and positive communication skills to work in this complex environment.  The project manager is expected to communicate and manage deliverables, resources, timelines, budgets, risks and issues throughout the project management life cycle.  The project manager must drive to deliver results for our client and show DXC is a proven partner.

What you’ll do

Essential Job Functions:
• Manage and lead a portfolio of projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate with project teams to define clear project objectives and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify and manage issues and risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in resource allocation and budget monitoring.
• Prepare project status reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and application of project management best practices.
• Drive teamwork and collaboration among the project team

Who you are

• Advanced English Required
• *3 years’ experience in Project Management specific to IT Infrastructure Delivery
• Client Facing
• Proven experience in project and program management
• Proficiencies in project management methodologies, tools, and software
• A continuous learner who stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Other Qualifications:
• An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 are a plus
