The Account Executive is a crucial member of Urable’s growing sales team,
responsible for driving new business and expanding customer adoption of our SaaS platform. This role will involve learning Urable inside and out, executing a proven sales process, and directly engaging with potential customers through demos, outbound calls, and messaging.
As one of the first sales hires, this is an exciting opportunity to work closely with leadership, shape Urable’s sales strategies, and play a key role in the company’s growth. This position is ideal for a self-motivated, tech-savvy salesperson with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a desire for career growth in a high growth SaaS environment. The Account Executive reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing and works closely with the sales and marketing team to generate and convert leads while helping refine the overall sales process.
Primary Responsibilities
Sales Training & Onboarding
• Shadow the Director of Sales & Marketing to learn Urable’s sales process,
messaging, and customer engagement strategies.
• Observe and analyze live sales demos, outbound calls, inbound calls, and
customer email/text message interactions.
• Participate in one-on-one coaching sessions to review and refine sales
techniques, demo delivery, and customer interactions.
• Gain a deep understanding of Urable’s platform, its features, and its value
propositions to effectively communicate with prospective customers.
Customer Engagement & Sales Execution
• Conduct outbound/in-trial and inbound sales calls to potential customers.
• Deliver high-quality product demonstrations via video calls, guiding trial users
through Urable’s key features.
• Assist in handling early-stage customer inquiries and objections, ensuring a
smooth sales process.
• Follow up with trial users to encourage adoption and conversion to paid
subscribers.
Demo & Pipeline Management
• Begin by co-hosting demos with the Director of Sales & Marketing, gradually
taking over the first half of calls.
Progress to leading full demos independently, showcasing Urable’s capabilities
and addressing customer needs.
• Manage and optimize the sales pipeline, tracking interactions and ensuring
consistent follow-ups.
• Work closely with marketing to improve lead qualification and outreach
strategies.
Sales Process Optimization & Growth
• Help refine sales scripts, demo flow, and objection-handling techniques to
improve conversion rates.
• Provide feedback on lead quality and customer objections to enhance Urable’s
sales and marketing strategies.
• Contribute to the development of sales enablement materials, including FAQs,
objection-handling guides, and training resources.
Key Skills & Qualifications
• 1-3 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing
roles, preferably in SaaS or technology sales.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly
articulate product value.
• Comfort with making outbound calls and conducting live product
demonstrations.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast paced startup environment.
• Ability to learn new software quickly and explain technical concepts to nontechnical customers.
• Highly organized with strong time management skills.
Performance Metrics & Expectations
• Lead Conversion Rate – Successfully convert trial users into paying subscribers.
• Demo Completion & Success Rate – Deliver engaging and effective product
demonstrations.
• Outbound & Inbound Sales Activity – Maintain a consistent volume of
prospecting calls and messages.
• Sales Pipeline Management – Track and follow up with prospects effectively.
• Customer Engagement & Feedback – Provide a high-quality sales experience
and gather insights to improve the process.
