Role Scope: 

We are looking for a dynamic leader to drive our data and analytics strategy and operations. As Vice President, Data and Analytics, you will work cross-functionally to design, implement and operate Habitat Health’s data infrastructure, reporting and analytics. We are looking for a leader who can drive design, strategy and requirements to ensure we are positioned as a leader in the domain in PACE long term, while having the expertise and desire to “roll up their sleeves” as needed in the short term.  

  • Develop the data and analytics strategy, roadmap, tactical execution plan and project timeline for data ingestion, normalization, reporting and analytics.  
  • Hire, inspire, and manage a growing team of data analysts to support all data domains: patient care and safety, risk adjustment, financial, clinical programs, healthcare cost management, risk management and regulatory / compliance. 
  • Establish and enforce data and analytics governance standards to drive clear and concise reporting dashboards and alignment and consistency throughout the organization.  
  • Partner with the PACE Center Leadership, Office of CMO, Population Health, Practice Operations, Finance, Strategy, Growth, and Health Plan Operations closely to define the business needs, direction and prioritization for the data team, and drive results. 
  • Drive the development of new and innovative stratification model and clearly identify the “why” through trend and predictive analytical solutions to support timely and actionable clinical and operational decision-making. 
  • Monitor the evolving healthcare landscape and make strategic recommendations to drive innovation and business impact. 
  • Be a critical thinker, able to quickly grasp metrics, numbers, financial and clinical information, and converse with the various stakeholders in a thoughtful manner. 

Qualifications:  

  • Aligns with our purpose and our values, and is excited about living those out in daily practice  
  • Ability to lead with influence across PACE Center Leadership, Office of CMO, Population Health, Practice Operations, Finance, Strategy, Growth, and Health Plan Operations 
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior data leadership role with proven experience building high-functioning data or analytics team in a fast-paced environment 
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience working with data and analytics at various levels 
  • Understanding of various technology stacks, and be native in different tools and languages 
  • Significant experience performing analysis in value-based care on large healthcare administrative claims data, EHR/EMR data, or complex relational healthcare databases analyzing medical, pharmacy and utilization data 
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with analytic and reporting tools in a big data environment simplifying data, be able to explain complex data stories to different stakeholders while being empathetic and eager to see the perspective of end users  
  • You're energized by ambiguity & a self-starter: you love to drive the direction of ambiguous projects 

Nice to have: 

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required 

Compensation:  

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for medical/dental/vision insurance, short and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) savings, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The expected salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 and is eligible for a bonus. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.
