As a Senior Accountant in our Outsourcing Accounting Services (OAS) group, you will be a valued member of our team and will build relationships with your outsourcing clients. The Outsourced Accounting Services (OAS) Senior Accountant works with accounting software/systems, will manage a variety of tasks, and will be communicating with clients and co-workers.

This is a remote position that can work from anywhere within the United States.

What you’ll do at SN:
  • Assist your clients in the complete project cycle; to include project entry, billing and project related reporting.
  • Ability to reconcile financial discrepancies by researching and analyzing accounting data.
  • Provide recurring daily/weekly transactional assists to clients including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card import, and consultant invoice management.
  • Provide month-end closing service to clients, including reconciliation of general ledger, control accounts, bank and credit cards, prepayment and loan schedule updates, etc.
  • Prepare financial statements.
  • A problem solver for both the client and SN OAS. Identify the root cause of an issue and propose a solution to resolve it.
  • Participate in the on-boarding process of new OAS clients.
  • Always look for ways to help our clients and the firm improve processes and profitability and communicate suggestions to appropriate parties.

What you may have done before:
  • Worked in Outsourced accounting doing full accounting and bookkeeping
  • Worked in consulting or with multiple clients at a time in accounting
  • Had a position with a strong commitment to providing unmatched client service
What it takes to be a Senior Accountant:
  • Proficiency in multiple ERPs and billing software (we use Deltek Ajera)
  • 3+ years of experience in Accounting at or above a staff accountant level
  • Have worked in full bookkeeping, AP/AR and financial statement reconciliation
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in appropriate manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Ability to interact with individuals at all levels and practice areas within the organization

Salary: The salary range for this position is an estimate of $75,000 - $90,000. A final compensation offer within this range will be based on factors including an individual’s skill sets, experience, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and geography.
