The Opportunity

AliveCor is seeking a Business Development Director to build and scale our outbound lead generation function targeting payers and employers across the U.S. Initially an individual contributor role, this is a unique opportunity for a hands-on leader to generate and qualify pipeline with key decision-makers at companies with 1,000+ employees, while designing the systems, messaging, and processes to support a growing Sales Development team.

 

You will play a critical role in accelerating pipeline generation for AliveCor’s Employer solutions, including our virtual cardiac clinic, remote cardiac monitoring, and population health insights platform designed specifically for payers and employers.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own and exceed individual pipeline generation and meeting-setting goals by identifying and engaging decision-makers at U.S.-based employers with 1,000+ employees and payers
  • Research and develop outreach strategies tailored to HR, Benefits, Clinical, and Population Health leaders
  • Build, test, and iterate on outbound sequences, messaging, and qualification frameworks
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to align campaigns, messaging, and feedback loops for demand generation
  • Develop dashboards and reporting to track outreach performance and meeting conversion
  • Establish and document scalable BDR processes, KPIs, and onboarding programs
  • Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team of BDRs as the organization scales
  • Continuously optimize outreach channels (email, phone, LinkedIn, events) to improve engagement and conversion rates

Qualifications & Skills:

        7+ years of experience in B2B sales or sales development, with a proven track record of success in outbound prospecting and pipeline generation

        2+ years in a leadership or player-coach capacity, with experience building and scaling BDR or inside sales functions

        Experience selling into large U.S.-based enterprises (1,000+ employees), ideally to HR, Benefits, or Clinical leadership

        Strong understanding of Employer sales cycles in digital health, population health, or employer benefits space a plus

        Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable crafting compelling outbound messages and pitches

        Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo)

        Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
