Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Senior Data Privacy Counsel to join Job&Talent’s headquarters team. This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in shaping and scaling our global privacy program, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and supporting the responsible growth of our operations worldwide.

In this role, you will lead and advise on contract negotiations from a privacy standpoint, carry out privacy by design reviews, manage vendor privacy assessments, and maintain our ROPA documentation. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with teams across legal, product, compliance, and procurement, and act as a key driver of privacy best practices across the organization.

If you’re ready to take on a pivotal legal role in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment—and you bring deep knowledge of EU data protection, OneTrust expertise, and fluency in both English and Spanish—we’d love to hear from you!

What you'll be doing...
  • Support the DPO in developing and managing Job&Talent’s global data privacy program, with a focus on vendor risk and legal compliance
  • Oversee privacy compliance efforts across the company, collaborating with legal, security, and business teams
  • Respond to customer and partner privacy inquiries, conduct AI governance and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs), and negotiate data protection terms
  • Manage vendor risk, including negotiating DPAs, reviewing assessments, and conducting third-party evaluations
  • Contribute to training, internal playbooks, and legal resources to strengthen privacy awareness across the organization
  • Assist with regulatory inquiries and support incident response efforts in collaboration with the security team
  • Own and operate relevant privacy processes in OneTrust

  • You have...
  • Fully qualified lawyer in at least one EU member state
  • Minimum 5 years of experience advising on global data protection matters and negotiating data protection-related contracts
  • Extensive hands-on experience with OneTrust
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a broad range of privacy-related projects
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner effectively across functions and seniority levels
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a flexible, “can-do” attitude
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (C2 level)

  • Nice if you also have...
  • Prior in-house experience within a high-growth technology company
  • Background in private practice (law firm or consultancy)
  • Familiarity with data protection regulations outside the EU/UK, particularly in the United States
