We are seeking a Technical Lead – Lead Engineer & Solutions Architect to take ownership of our architecture and lead the development of innovative solutions across our platforms. Reporting directly to the Director of Technology & Innovation, you will drive technology strategies, oversee engineering execution, and collaborate closely with business leaders to align technical roadmaps with corporate objectives.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can mentor engineers, optimize systems, and drive Agile/DevOps practices while ensuring high-quality product delivery. Bonus points if you have a strong network and can bring in top talent to strengthen our backend, DevOps, data, and AI/ML capabilities.
In this role, you will:
● Develop and execute technology strategies, architecture, and product roadmaps for B2B and B2C platforms.
● Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams to achieve strategic objectives.
● Drive Agile engineering, CI/CD, and DevOps practices to enhance efficiency and delivery speed.
● Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize feature development and align technical execution with company goals.
● Optimize CRM, booking engines, and eCommerce platforms for scalability, performance, and seamless integration.
● Maintain a hands-on role in solution design, architecture decisions, and code reviews.
● Manage technical debt, ensuring long-term sustainability and high system reliability.
● Champion scalability, availability, and security, balancing technical quality with business demands.
● Foster a high-performance, innovation-driven team culture.
Requirements:
● 10+ years leading engineering teams in enterprise-scale systems or startups.
● Proven success in delivering B2B and B2C SaaS solutions leveraging cloud services (AWS preferred)
● Deep expertise in software engineering, system architecture, and CRM development.
● Experience driving Agile/DevOps cultures, focusing on CI/CD pipelines and automation.
● Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Next.js)
● Strong leadership skills in coaching, mentoring, and building high-performing teams.
● Ability to execute in fast-paced, high-growth environments while maintaining technical quality.
● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-have skills:
● Experience in Travel Tech, particularly with booking engines, eCommerce, or group travel platforms.
● Expertise in ML/AI, LLMs, RAGs, or blockchain.
● Advanced AWS skills (Lambda, ECS, SNS)
