Job description

This is a remote position.

Virtual Rockstar is looking for a Social Media Manager who is creative, organized, and skilled in content creation and digital marketing. This person will manage the client's online presence across social media, email, and web platforms. You’ll help turn expert content into engaging posts, newsletters, campaigns, and visuals that connect with the audience and support business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Create and schedule social media posts

  • Manage social media profiles and engagement

  • Edit videos for social and email content

  • Repurpose existing content into newsletters, blog posts, and formatted social posts

  • Design and implement email marketing infrastructure and campaigns

  • Maintain and update website content

  • Assist with marketing campaigns and ad management

  • Create visual content and marketing assets

  • Provide light tech support as needed (e.g., uploading videos, updating web pages)

  • Organize and manage digital files, folders, and assets

  • Analyze marketing campaign performance and suggest improvements

  • Manage calendar and email communications



Requirements
  • Strong written and visual content creation skills

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and email marketing tools

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and organized

  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Tech-savvy and resourceful problem-solver

  • Passionate about helping others grow and succeed

Experience with the following tools is helpful, but not required:

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Fantastical Calendar

  • ToDoist

  • Loomly (social media scheduling)

  • Loom (video recording/editing)
