We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Technical Training Specialist for our MaidPro brand.  Your experience in developing and delivering comprehensive creative classroom and virtual training material will play a critical role in ensuring our Franchise owners receive robust best in class training programs aimed to ensure they are fully equipped to run a successful MaidPro franchise according to our established brand standards. 


This is a remote role that will require some travel.  


Big Picture:

Help our owners build the best residential cleaning businesses in the industry through great training, product expertise, strong vendor relationships, and through building robust one on one relationships with owners.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deliver and continuously assess training curriculum.
  • Create and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online courses, to align with current company policies and industry best practices
  • Create facilitator guides, participant guides and training aids to enforce best practices. 
  • Develop and provide virtual instructor lead learning opportunities and create content for independent learning through our LMS. 
  • Continuously assess and evaluate training effectiveness and maintain SOP’s.  
  • Understand how to incorporate adult learning principles and blend learning methodologies as an effective training strategy.  
  • On-site training facilitation and technical skills training.
  • Travel to our Corporate training location (Boston, MA) to conduct hands-on in-depth new owner training on MaidPro services. (May be required to travel 1 time per month.) 
  • Train on equipment, supplies and cleaning process
  • Provide in depth industry safety regulation training, licensing requirements and OSHA compliance training. 
  • Primary point of contact for our preferred cleaning supply vendors
  • Develop a strong understanding of the preferred procedures and equipment used in our industry, as well as emerging trends and innovations, to develop a robust strategy around how our brand should adopt or exceed current industry standards. 
  • Stay abreast of new equipment, products, and supplies that may assist in the operations and regularly source appropriate products for testing with a focus on continuous improvement to the safety, performance, and affordability for the franchise owners.  
  • Work with owners to navigate damage claim resolutions, challenging items to clean, etc
  • Collaborate with franchise owners to assess damage claims and address challenging cleaning scenarios.
  • Collaborate with franchise owners to improve team efficiency and attention to details
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Ability to clearly explain complex concepts and deliver engaging training sessions to diverse audiences.
  • Build rapport with franchise owners and staff, providing effective coaching and mentoring post training.
  • Be skilled at identifying and addressing training gaps and troubleshooting issues that arise during on-site training.

Skills and Requirements: 

  • Experience: 5-7 years minimum home services and or cleaning industry experience with proven success. 
  • Strong Analytical Skills - Ability to research and discern accurate and relevant information on industry related topics. 
  • Excellent Writing Skills - Ability to write training courses, manuals, handouts, and other forms of documentation for the brand in a way that is easy to understand, organized and educational. 
  • Excellent Communication Skills – Ability to break down complex ideas simply in live training and over the phone. 
  • Strong Organization Skills – Ability to keep track of multiple projects at once and document progress and results effectively. 
  • Strong Technology Competency - Computer savvy and strong working knowledge of industry equipment.
