About the Team
The products specialists are part of a leading new support team within FIS Sales: The Growth Office.
The Growth Office is designed to help the entire sales force be better informed and equipped to sell the vast range of financial products that FIS brings to the market. The products specialists are the experts in a particular solution and the go to person for sales to understand that product and how to effectively talk to clients and prospects about it. You will be directly involved in selling key strategic deals as well as working towards the sales team being able to effectively sell across all deals.


Working towards an overall line of business target, the product specialists work with both the product team and presales engineers to provide a strategic view of where the product is headed and how future roadmap and enhancements will position the solution 6-12 months out. The Cards Product Specialist for EMEA will have a good understanding of not only what the current debit, credit and prepaid products can do within the international FIS solutions suite but also keep abreast of the cards landscape across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and help prepare the sales team for where cards are headed.
 

Responsibilities:


Sales Engagement
Managing the distribution of the product through the CIB sales channels. Supporting sales activity including attending meetings, qualifying deals, training sellers, presenting trends to C-suite.


Business Unit Engagement
Responsible for the interlock and engagement with the aligned Business Unit.
Regular road to home reporting and pipeline generation reporting to stakeholders within the business unit.
Ensuring alignment on target markets and strategy.


Solutions Management
Ensures products meet target market needs
Influences roadmap
Ensures alignment on market positioning / appetite


Marketing
Support the development of messaging and positioning. Agree campaign strategy and focus.
Review lead generation from campaign/events, and support the qualification process


GTM
Collaborate with the Growth Office Transformation and Acceleration team to prioritize and formulate complete GTM plan
Support relevant product launches, define the addressable market(s) where applicable.


Sales Engineering
Bring in presales after qualifying key opportunities ensure smooth transition of opportunities


Experience required:

  • Knowledge of Cards and Payments industry

  • Strong relationships within FIS Business Units

  • Strong grasp of competitive landscape

  • Deep relationships within key institutions in the industry

  • A deep understanding of FIS product / service

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Proven C-level engagement experience

  • Ability to create and shape market facing messaging and positioning.
