Mid-to-High Level Django Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Django developer with mid-to-high level experience in web development and JavaScript technology. The ideal candidate should be capable of writing dynamic forms and possess strong experience in database and data modeling.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain web applications using Django
Collaborate with other front-end developers to implement new features
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Troubleshoot and debug issues
Participate in code reviews
Continuously improve code quality and development processes

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a lead developer
Strong experience with database and data modeling is a plus
Linux experience
Ability to be self-managing, following loose directives and able to self-manage
Good record on Github of activity demonstrating expertise
Good communication skills in English
Experience with Celery is a plus
Experience with OpenAI and generative AI is helpful
Using Slack and Asana

This is a remote position with a flexible work schedule, working in the US-EST timezone. Candidates must have good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
