- Develop and maintain Python applications in a cloud environment, specifically AWS.
- Load, store, and publish data from various sources including EMS and Kafka.
- Build and provide APIs and search services on data stores.
- Collaborate with other technology applications to modernize and enhance existing products.

Job Title: Senior Python Developer with AWS
Location: Dallas, TX (Remote)
Duration: Contract
Job Description:
We load data (from EMS/Kafka/Batch files), store data (in Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, DynamoDB, and soon Aurora), in some cases publish data to Kafka, and we build and provide APIs/search services on our datastores.
Our consumers are other technology applications with the exception of one application that was built in the cloud. All of these products were built onPrem and we are in the process of modernizing them and moving them to the cloud (AWS).
From a language perspective, we use Java on Prem and Python in the cloud.
In parallel with modernization work, we are enhancing products to support functionality related to other initiatives.
