About the role:
Incent is seeking a Senior Manager of Strategic Alliances to grow partnerships that drive adoption of our youth digital banking platform among credit unions and banks. This role sits at the intersection of business development, go-to-market strategy and execution, and partner management. This position requires a strong understanding of fintech ecosystems. You’ll identify high-impact partners, enhance our go-to-market strategy, and expand our product ecosystem to support financial literacy and long-term engagement for the next generation of account holders.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
Identify and Evaluate New Alliances: Proactively source and assess strategic partnership opportunities aligned with business goals (e.g., technology providers, banking-as-a-service platforms, payment networks, core banking systems, fintech’s, and more).
Build Strategic Relationships: Cultivate executive-level relationships with key partners, fostering long-term collaboration and joint go-to-market strategies.
Negotiate Deals: Lead deal structuring, term sheet development, and contract negotiations to create win-win partnerships.
Develop Joint Solutions: Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to co-develop and launch integrated solutions with partners.
Drive GTM Execution: Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute partner enablement plans, marketing campaigns, and joint customer acquisition initiatives.
Monitor and Optimize Performance: Track and report on partnership KPIs, ROI, and strategic impact, adjusting tactics as needed.
Industry Representation: Represent Incent at industry events, conferences, and webinars to build brand visibility and explore new partnership opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.
8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, corporate development, or business development within fintech, digital banking, or financial services.
Proven track record of identifying, structuring, and scaling strategic alliances in a fast-paced tech environment.
Deep understanding of the fintech ecosystem, including, digital banking platforms, core systems BaaS and embedded finance.
Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and executive communication skills.
Highly collaborative, strategic thinker with strong project management capabilities.
Desired Skills:
Experience working with or for financial institutions, digital banking platforms, or core banking tech providers.
Familiarity with digital infrastructure, open banking, and financial data APIs.
