How you will make a difference: 

  • Support/File/Action leave requests in accordance with statutory requirement with necessary government entities in a timely manner avoiding risk/penalties to Safeguard Global and the Client
  • Process, manage, action, and coordinate leave requests for clients and employees in accordance with KPIs
  • Coordinate all aspects of leave cases from intake to resolution ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Ensure all leave cases are handled in compliance with country employment laws and in line with company policies
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, employees, and our HR, Benefits, and Payroll teams providing clear communication, guidance and inputs on leave policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of leave requests ensuring the accuracy and security of data and adherence to relevant privacy regulations and organizational policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of leave requests while ensuring data privacy and confidentiality
  • Provide exemplary customer service addressing queries and concerns regarding leave policies and procedure globally within the defined timelines
  • Generate and analyze reports on absence trends, patterns, and metrics to support HR decision-making
  • Monitor and manage legislative changes that impact leave policies
  • Ability to think critically and interpret eligibility requirements based on guidelines and rules, qualifiers, defined limits, etc.
  • Understand exception scenarios and drive timely closures/resolution
  • Ability to research and fact find in support of leave inquires to be able to articulate claim eligibility/ineligibility with clear reasoning

What will give you an advantage:

  • 2+ years of experience in global HR or leave management experience in a customer service or client facing role
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences. 
  • Multi-language skills a plus
  • Demonstrated track record of service delivery excellence
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a dynamic, results-oriented environment while meeting internal and customer KPIs
  • Understand and recognize when there is a sense of urgency and be able to prioritize activities accordingly  
  • Excellent customer service skills; exhibiting empathy while adhering to business guidelines
  • Strong listening, understanding, and receptive skills to ensure positive customer experience for claimants/employees
  • Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
