About the role

The Vice President of AMEC (Americas, Middle East, and Canada) Sales will be responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue growth objectives. Leading a team of sector Sales Directors, this executive will develop sales and growth strategies, tactics, and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve financial targets. The VP of AMEC Sales will also focus on building a highly motivated sales team, hitting sales targets (Quarterly/Half-Year/Annual), and understanding customer trends. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, strategic planning, and market expansion within the semiconductor sector, with expertise in several strategic areas such as industrial, commercial, mobile, AI, etc.

What you will do

·       Define and execute the regional Sales & Marketing Strategy.

·       Own sales and design-win targets for the region.

·       Align on the transfer of business between regions with other Regional Leaders.

·       Drive global sales for strategic accounts in the region.

·       Manage, steer, and maintain cost envelope for the region (Regional sellex cost management).

·       Rigorously drive a Culture of Performance throughout the organization.

·       Lead staffing, performance management, talent management, incentive rollout, and hiring decisions in close cooperation with the GSM leadership team

·       Develop a commercial and technical workforce, enabling the team to act as trusted advisers to customers in the region.

·       Provide input on product roadmaps, customer lists, account value propositions, and go-to-market resources and structures.

·       Deploy pricing and target-setting programs defined by GSM leadership

·       Establish Business Governance, driving and supporting monthly business reviews and quarterly RFF.

·       Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and industry partners.

·       Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales initiatives with company goals.

·       Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to refine sales strategies.

·       Drive the adoption of sales best practices, CRM utilization, and performance tracking.

·       Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

·       Report on sales performance, forecasts, and key metrics to senior leadership.

What you will need

·       In-depth understanding of the Semiconductor Market, channels, and market participants, including reference design influence and transnational accounts.

·       15+ years of sales experience in the Semiconductor Industry.

·       10+ years of international leadership experience in a cross-functional team.

·       Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred; higher degrees are a bonus.

·       Solid experience promoting standard/commodity products.

·       Strong experience in managing transnational accounts and global client relationships.

·       Expertise in a variety of markets (industrial, commercial, mobile, AI, etc.)

·       Excellent customer negotiation skills.

·       A drive to persevere, overcome obstacles, and succeed.

·       Proven track record of formulating win-win proposals and closing large deals.

·       Comfort in fast-paced environments; experience in public companies is a plus.

Soft Skills:

·       Entrepreneurial thinking, result-oriented, and customer-focused.

·       Team player with a hands-on mentality.

·       Proven track record working in multicultural/international teams.

·       Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.

·       Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to close, especially driving through action plans.

·       Proven ability to position products against competitors.

·       Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·       Willingness to travel frequently.
