Hybrid, working onsite at our Santa Clara, CA headquarters 3 days per week.

AI Software Solutions Engineer – Technical lead / Principal

In this role, you will drive the successful adoption of d-Matrix technologies across customers and partners by architecting high-performance AI solutions, developing ecosystem integrations, and serving as a technical bridge between engineering and real-world AI deployments. You will also help expand the reach and capabilities of the d-Matrix Developer Cloud and ecosystem, accelerating time-to-value for both internal and external developers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Architect, implement, and validate end-to-end AI pipelines for LLMs, transformers, and other emerging workloads. Optimize applications to fully leverage d-Matrix’s architecture and software stack.

  • Lead integration efforts with ISV tools, SaaS platforms, and open ML ecosystems, ensuring d-Matrix solutions work seamlessly with customer-preferred tools

  • Enable setting up d-Matrix Developer Cloud. Actively leverage and support to accelerate proof-of-concepts, benchmarking, and demo workloads.

  • Guide developers and customers in onboarding, accessing tooling, and utilizing the Developer Cloud’s resources for testing and experimentation.

  • Provide technical support to customers during onboarding, PoCs, and production rollouts.

  • Build technical collateral like quick starts, integration guides, and workflow examples to streamline customer journeys.

  • Help shape and expand the developer ecosystem by contributing reusable models, examples, SDK improvements, and tools that enrich the overall developer experience.

  • Serve as a power user and evangelist identifying ways to improve accessibility, observability, and performance insight.

  • Create and publish impactful technical content, including whitepapers, blogs, tutorials, and benchmarking reports that demonstrate the value of d-Matrix technology.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.

  • 5+ years in solutions engineering, AI/ML application development, or systems integration roles.

  • Strong coding skills in Python and C++; proficiency with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.

  • Experience integrating with or developing for cloud-based AI stacks (SaaS, MLOps, inference platforms).

  • Familiarity with deploying models via cloud services or containerized inference runtimes.

  • Excellent communication skills, with a track record of authoring technical documentation or blog content.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in customer-facing roles.

  • Experience working with or building cloud-based AI developer platforms or DevOps workflows.

  • Contributions to open-source AI toolkits or developer community resources.

  • Understanding of AI performance KPIs (e.g., tokens/sec, latency, cost & energy efficiency).
