About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned Accounts Payable Manager to join our Financial Operations team. This role is crucial in ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments, as well as managing corporate Travel and Expense reimbursements. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills with attention to detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and sharp analytical skills to improve AP processes and uphold compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. Additionally, this individual will help maintain accurate vendor records, support audit activities, and ensure accurate 1099 reporting.

This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US offices or remotely in the United States.

Role Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.
  • Lead, train, and support AP staff to meet departmental goals and deadlines.
  • Maintain and update vendor records; resolve payment inquiries and discrepancies promptly.
  • Administer T&E policies; review & approve employee expense reports for compliance.
  • Identify and execute enhancements to streamline AP processes and increase team efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare AP-related JEs and reconciliations; support the financial close process.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation and filing of 1099s and other tax documents.
  • Provide documentation and support external audits
  • Oversee AP systems and tools; collaborate with IT and finance teams on system updates and
    integrations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting/finance role.
  • 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in an accounting department
  • Strong knowledge of AP processes, general accounting principles, and internal controls.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g.,NetSuite, Ramp).
  • Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
  • Understanding of tax regulations, vendor management, and financial reporting may be a plus.

Compensation:
