What You Will Do

You will lead the analysis and reporting and consolidation of media performance across multiple channels, including digital, TV, social, influencer and more. You will play a critical role in providing actionable media insights that will drive data-informed decision-making and support the Chomps’ marketing growth strategy. You will own media strategy planning and scenario building and play a key role in greater marketing budget building as an unbiased party to channel allocation. You will collaborate with key external agency partners, and across the marketing team working closely with e-commerce, brand, creative, and business analytics, to optimize media strategies and ensure that all media investments are maximizing brand growth and ROI. You will own creative insights as they relate to media strategy, lead A/B testing initiatives, and inform team on outcomes and next steps to optimize go-forward strategy.  

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret media data across all active channels, including TV, video, paid social, paid search, retail media, influencer, and more.   
  • Lead consolidated media reporting across all marketing channels, providing actionable monthly insights to marketing team and marketing leaders. Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate media performance metrics and insights to multi-level audiences.  
  • Leverage advanced tools to guide decision making including MMM, incrementality measurement, brand equity, brand lift studies, Numerator insights and more  
  • Own media channel mix planning & scenario building, in lockstep with channel owners to allocate inputs.  Collaborate as a key stakeholder in total marketing budgeting and forecasting. Understand channel inputs, impact on revenue and performance, and customer dynamics as you own media strategy planning wholistically to support greater marketing and sales efforts.
  • Use advanced analytics and data visualization techniques to uncover insights on media performance, audience behavior, and campaign trends.  
  • Interact & collaborate with key partners on key insights initiatives and analysis including brand & performance media agency and key retail media partners 
  • Collaborate with key marketing channel leaders to inform, discuss and action on in-depth channel level trends identified through reporting including TV, Paid Social, Paid Search, and Retail Media channels like Amazon, Instacart, Walmart etc. 
  • Provide recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness, working closely with the marketing and media teams to optimize media spend, targeting, and creative execution.
  • Provide strategic creative recommendations plans through in-depth creative performance analysis, A/B testing, and market competitive analysis  
  • Conduct competitive analysis and research to understand market trends, audience behavior, and emerging media opportunities in the CPG industry.
  • Own the development of long term media strategies across the team by providing data-driven recommendations on optimal media mix, budget allocation, and performance forecasting.
  • Closely collaborate across departments with the Business Analytics team to understand media impact effectiveness alongside trade spend and pricing in market, while leveraging MMM, brand equity tracking, and other tools to inform impact and long term strategy  

Who You Are

  • 6+ years of hands on full-funnel media analytics, media planning or marketing analytics experience, ideally within CPG
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in analytics or media planning is a plus.
  • Extremely strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience in data visualization tools (i.e. Power BI)
  • A passion for creative optimization within media strategy
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills; the ability to effectively communicate large data sets to a range of audience levels  
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and exceptional time management skills  
  • A self-starter, with strength in owning & optimizing deliverables and key insights for a growing team
  • Strong attention to detail while working in a face paced environment  

Position: Senior Manager, Media Insights + Strategy

Reports to: Senior Director, e-Commerce

Location: Remote

Type: Full-Time, exempt

Salary Range Opportunity:

  • The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $135,000 + 20% annual bonus

Compensation Philosophy & Total Comp:

  • Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company
