Job Summary

The Facility Data Manager SME applies specialized knowledge of a primary technical or business discipline. This role requires broad knowledge of several technical or business fields and extensive knowledge of his/her specialty. Technology expert on delivering technological or business requirements and solving problems within medium to large IT or business environments, which includes, but is not limited to, Compute, Storage, Data Services, Network, Resource Management, Cybersecurity, Tool and Application development, Government business models for finance, procurement, and human resources. Provides technical expertise, guidance, and leadership in the given area of expertise.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Facility Data Manager SME to oversee and optimize facility-related data management processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across facility operations, maintenance, and asset management systems. This role will play a critical part in improving data-driven decision-making, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role requires responsibilities such as:

  • Serving as the subject matter expert (SME) in facility data management, providing guidance and best practices for data collection, storage, and analysis
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive data governance policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
  • Overseeing the implementation and management of facility management software (e.g., CMMS) to track assets, maintenance schedules, and space utilization
  • Ensuring data integrity by conducting audits, validating information, and implementing data quality control measures

Requirements

Required Minimum Education

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Facility Management, or a related field

Required Years of Experience

  • Must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in facility data management or a similar role

Required Skills, Qualifications, Technical Experience, etc.

  • A strong expertise in facility management software (e.g., CMMS) and data analytics tools
  • Proficiency in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, APIs, data governance, and data quality assurance
  • Experience ensuring reporting requirements are met while maintaining high data quality and reporting accuracy

Preferred Skills, Qualifications, Technical Experience, etc.

  • Experience with predictive maintenance and facility management solutions
