Job description

Role : Teradata Support Professional

Location : Hartford, CT

1. Strong knowledge and work experience in supporting Teradata Vantage on Cloud environments.
2. Thorough understanding of Teradata Architecture and Modeling concepts
3. Proficiency in Teradata System and SQL Performance tuning and Optimization
4. TASM, Workload Management, MVC compression, Teradata Monitoring
5. Unix/Shell scripting, Automation
6. Data Movement using QueryGrid, Data Mover, DSA
7. Experience using Teradata TPT, TPump, Multi Load, Fast Load, Fast Export, BTEQ
8. Teradata TTU packaging and client tools installation
9. Support Teradata Backup and Recovery
10. Remediating Teradata Infrastructure Vulnerabilities and security threats.
11. Provide Teradata Metrics and Reporting (PDCR, Tableau, Looker) to management.
12. Problem solving, Service Now Incident handling, Documentation, End user training.
13. Provide on-call rotation support.
