ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic engineering team. As a DBA, you will be responsible for managing RDBMS and NoSQL solutions, optimizing performance, implementing replication and high availability, and providing support to development teams. Troubleshooting and problem-solving will be a key part of your role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage RDBMS and NoSQL solutions

Performance tuning

Implement and manage replication, high availability, partitioning / sharding

Assist development teams in creating, optimizing, and problem solve with RDBMS and NoSQL solutions

Troubleshooting

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator

Expert-level experience with at least one of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB

Familiarity with other RDBMS or NoSQL solutions

Strong command of SQL (DDL, DML, DCL)

Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms

Proficiency in Linux

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

A plus if: Experience with Python or Bash scripting. Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tooling
